ソニーマーケティング株式会社は11月16日、同日に受注を開始したEマウント交換レンズ「FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS」（SEL300F28GM）の供給状況について告知した。
同社の予想を大幅に上回る注文があり、出荷までに時間がかかる可能性があるという。
FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSSは、ミラーレスカメラ「α9 III」（2024年1月26日発売）と同時に発表された望遠単焦点レンズ。300mm F2.8のスペックはミラーレスカメラ用の純正レンズとして初登場となった。三脚座を外して約1,470gという軽さが特徴。1.4×/2×の別売テレコンバーターも使用可能。発売は2024年2月2日。店頭予想価格は税込94万円前後。

キヤノンは、RFマウントでRF28-70mm F2のような大口径レンズを投入しているので、135mm F1.4を実際に製品化する可能性はあるかもしれませんね。
135mm F1.4が大きく重く高価なレンズになるのは間違いないと思いますが、どのような描写をするのかは非常に興味深いところです。
